Introduction:
這是一個關於“個人情感”的媒體照片集。整個系列包括了四組創作。主題分別是喜、怒、哀、樂。在視覺效果的處理，採用了 "照片拼貼" 及 "蒙太奇照相風格" 的概念。而設計靈感則是源於2009年發生在自己身邊的事物; 創作目的是透過上述的視覺作品, 表達一些個人的感受和看法...... 讓別人從這一點點了解我的所感和所思。
This is a photo media portfolio about my personal emotions. The whole collection included four photo creations. For visual treatment, used the concepts of photo collage and photomontage. And the design inspiration was came from the events happened in the year 2009, I would like to through the above visuals to express my feelings, experiences and views...

Emotions, is human all kinds of feeling, thinking and behavior of an integrated psychological and physiological state, is generated by external stimuli psychological reaction, and the accompanying physiological responses, such as: happiness, anger, sadness and joy and so on. 我認為生命其實是由“重叠”的影象組成，所以決定以這種形式訴說關於我的故事。
拍攝內容包括了我於二零零九年所遊走過的地方；至於視覺元素的取材則包含了抽像和寫實的。
Happiness (喜)
“喜” (Happiness) 的創作源起是從這兩個月忙著搬新居這件事...... 視覺構思是因為我差不多每天也要為新居走一條長路“進進出出”，所以對於這條路特別印象深刻，而在陽光普照的日子，它縱横的結構更會反照出一度線條分明的 “格仔影子”；而這條“格仔長路” 總給我“希望”的感覺......“往前走...... 往前走......”彷彿是一種動力！此外,構成這張作品的另一幅相片其實是來自新居露台上的一盆花所投射出來的影子。我發現它們的影子同時擁有一種難以言喻的“愉悦感”，可能這種想法有一點 “個人化”，但既然這是一份以 “個人" 為創作目的創作，所以我嘗試以一種“簡約" 和 “平靜”的手法處理，目的是想表達一種 “輕鬆愉快”的感覺。
Anger (怒)
相反地,“怒" (Anger) 是一幅充滿 “力” 和 “質感” 的作品，既有 “扭曲” 的 Self-Portrait，再有重叠的 “西貢碼頭” 和 “紙船 Sculpture” 間的創作；想表達的是自己在過去這年於職場所飽受的“欺壓”和“不安”；而”西貢碼頭”所透視的是一種對比，“紙船”則隱含了一種“靠不到岸”的意思。作品以“灰暗”的色調處理，目的是想表達我對於工作場所感的“失望" 和 “惱怒”。
Sadness (哀)
“哀” (Sadness) 是因為“紀念”剛於這年頭離世的父親......；而他的“生”與“死”也是這幅作品的創作概念。猶記於今年的“重陽節”當我再走到他喜歡“晨運” 的山嶺時，發現自己意圖以“拍照”不斷尋找一些曾經“存在" 的生命痕跡，於是滿以為多拍一些“翠綠盎然”的植物便可以尋找多一些“生” 的感覺時，才找到真相...... 當我嘗試將一張張表面看似 “生氣勃勃” 的照片相互重叠處理時，才赫然發現這作品“再現”的其實只是一種對“死”的 “哀悼”，是一種關於回憶的“痛"。
Joy (樂)
“樂”(Joy) 記錄了我對於“尋找” 生活樂趣的投入，也藉以這次 London的旅程和一些 “自拍” 的影像訴說我是如何找到 “自我發現” 的生命意義。這作品透過“樂而忘返” 的意思透露了我對於生命的不斷追求；其中不獨只是為了“自我達成”這目的，也表達了作為一個人的生存目的，應該是不斷 "留下痕跡"，縱然時間久了，一切已不太清晰......

Express your observation and your view about any neighborhood, HK or any city of your choice.
While someone believed United Kingdom’s London is a moody city, reversely, I feel, she is a very fantastic and lively city. Maybe compare with others, my views and experiences are dissimilar… But I think if you can visit there, and try to wander different regions, such as going to Covent Garden, and different squares etc. You may realize the real enjoyment, may found when creativity is happen everywhere, life will splendidly change.
Actually not as Hong Kong’s streets, in London, you are easily to find different cultural events and performances are happening everywhere. Luckily, in the past summer holiday’s journey, I’ve got an opportunity to discover her creativity, but the most impressive impact is her cultural atmosphere. Of course, my unexpected harvest is, I deeply felt life is full of imaginations.
Compare with Hong Kong, our environment seemed mainly surrounded by different consume propagandas… In London, even though they still have shopping areas. But instead of consuming, the places must include some area for different creators, artists and performers. So that people easily know how to enjoy, relax and appreciate others and their city.
In Hong Kong, it’s a pity that our citizens lack of similar interaction and creative performance. Our teenage are seldom obtaining such experimental “learning”. But does it mean our city is no sufficient creators? Whether mean our city only appreciates “copy” culture?
By this “Pleasure is…” project, I would like to express creativity is everywhere, to interpret everyday life is plenty of “enjoyment”, not just a process, it’s an empirical, also including so much amazing moments.
Conclusion is cultural interaction can bring out positive impact; it is an experimental learning method, especially suitable to children and teenage. It is as a training of art, helpful to the development of body and mind.

Picture 1:
Title: Pleasure is Decision
Description: Covent Garden, a very uniqueness place of London, features shops, art galleries, bars, theatres and museum etc. Besides, it also co-existence of people from different life, there are performers, photographers, designers, tourist etc., a place with novel and fun. And the above picture was the scene over there.
This photo, no obvious art factions and aesthetic principles, and I used the “Candid Realism” to treat it. It represented a clutter into structure, about characteristics; it contained a very interesting geometry graphic effect. If we link the people’s positions together, it is obviously to find their relationship as a “circle” (implied circle). Besides, this photo’s composition method is quite similar to the photographer, Alex Webb, featured everyone also had their own directions and eye-lines (implied lines)… About the shooting angle, I used a normal angle to take it. But the most great and dramatic effect seemed also related the existence of each role, such as the “silver solider”, the child and the father, even the clown etc. Surely, the most attractive focal point, is the child how to make the “Decision”… Finally, I would like to illustrate, this photo provides a “looking” and “interest” of a decisive moment; it means a type of looking.
Picture 2:
Title: Pleasure is Observation
Description: Actually this photo was happened before the scene of picture one. This time, the child is only an audience; his condition is for “Observation”. This photo’s composition showed a geometry pattern, triangle. And as picture one, I used a diagonal line to treat the images, for making the “sense of depth”. Besides, I intended directing the viewer’s attention on the right of centre, the child’s placement could emphasis the isolation of him. Given this, he seemed as a starting point, and the content contained a visual tension, possible because of the involvement of the boy, he was the focus of a radical effect. So the shooting angle seemed raised the visual interest of this photo.
Picture 3:
Title: Pleasure is Curiosity
Description: This is another scene of Covent Garden, this time I was sitting at the ground of the street, the shooting angle is lower… and no feature artistic style too.
I captured this moment, because the little girl fascinated me, especially when she was playing with the pigeons, I realized happy also related to “Curiosity”, and that’s why I took this photo. Basically, it is just a candid photography; about graphical composition, in the picture one; two and four also contained the elements of points, lines and shapes. But points and lines were the main design factors of this one. It means, if you link the girl and the pigeons together, you can easily get the motion curve. Then, by the movement of the girl, you may know what is rhythm.
Picture 4:
Title: Pleasure is Spellbound
Description: Another inspirational place of London I found is the Trafalgar Square (Outside of the National Gallery). Differentiate to the previous photos; picture four portrayed the “silent” moment. Inside, you may found the boy seemed fascinated by the artist and his drawing. About composition method, it seemed came from the positions of the boy, the artist and the bag. Their relationship as an “inverted triangle”, it’s a very innovative visual placement. Not traditional treatment, I put the characters at the upper part of the photo frame; intend to form an abnormal visual perspective, but accidentally, it became the uniqueness factor of this photo.
